Created as part of Dundee’s public water supply the reservoir is set in a beautiful parkland setting. During the summer a variety of watersports are available and craft can be hired from the park’s Visitor Centre.

Changing rooms and showers are available and wetsuits and buoyancy aids are included with hire. Rowing Boats suitable for family use are a popular attraction.

Enjoy the walks through the woods or along the reservoir banks leading to the play and picnic areas. Clatto Reservoir is linked to Templeton Woods and Camperdown Country Park by a path, cycle and bridleway network for the more energetic visitor or is easily reached by road.

Coarse angling is available by day ticket on the reservoir. Fishing is with bait only and fish such as Perch, Roach and Bream can be caught during the summer months. Pike are also present and they provide good sport in spring and autumn.
